I have always been interested in the arts! I love the unique and creative and find inspiration all around me. After high school I decided to explore other interests graduating college in a dual business, and psychology BS. I served as an intern for the Senate and worked in several business atmospheres in New Caanan, Connecticut, just outside of Manhattan. I worked for many years as a regional director for a human services company when I met my husband. After having my first child I began to sway back into the world of Arts. I began interior design and found it most rewarding in the area of Corporate Design. Due to my Psyc/Business past, as well as working in several business atmosphere's during the past 10 years I have a developed a great talent in branding. I create surroundings that inspire feelings toward your corporation's brand. I truly enjoy bringing this branding to life the business arena. I have continued to expand this talent with experience in several offices, programs, and retail developments in the years since I began.

My Home

A place of refuge.

I like to change my home design... often. But as I do, I am always designing for a feeling of tranquility for my family. Whatever that may mean at the time.

One of my more recent projects (and most fun!) was our kitchen table. I saw a fantastic table that I desperately wanted at Restoration Hardware. I wasn't going to pay that price, even with the designer discount! ;). I searched around and came upon building plans by anna-white, a blogger from Alaska. She had a very close version. Below, the result. It turned out beautifully. I added a few curtain behind and a new lighting fixture for mood. Voila! We love our current kitchen nook.
